I called this place over the summer since it seemed to be rated well so I gave them a shot. I just wanted the gas furnace and the AC systems cleaned and tuned up since it had been a couple of years. Instead they tried to condemn my system (although it is and has been working fine) and showed me blurry pictures of what it said were problems with the system and then only cleaned the condensing unit to the tune of nearly $500. Then came the hard sell to try to get me to buy a brand new system. I didn’t take the bait because they were trying to seize the moment and rush me into a decision with what they called a special deal. Any time anyone is trying to rush you into making a decision and offering incentives you should always be cautious and skeptical. Fast forward to today, I had to call someone in because my thermostat had no power and I didn’t have any heat. Turns out a limit switch that the technician removed to access the heat exchanger over the summer was never properly screwed back into place. It eventually popped out enough to cause a short and pop the fuse on n the system. So it cost me another $125 just because the previous tech didn’t put a screw back in properly. I rarely bother giving reviews, let alone bad ones, but I feel that people should be aware of what my experience was with this company. Needless to say, I won’t be using them again for anything and whoever is reading this should give careful consideration before having any work...

Both the duct-work and installation crews arrived at my house when the arrival time was set. Both crews were very friendly, fully explained what they were doing and gave valuable advise about the system. Along with things I can do for practical and aesthetic purposes. (ex. I was informed that I can enclose the ducts going trough one of the closets with walls, to both protect the ducts and look better visually. The people installing the duct-work also explained that they were installing returns in each of the rooms to let the rooms breath while the room doors are shut. The installation crew put white crushed stone around the condenser installed outside to complete an aesthetically pleasing looking area). Both crews worked quickly and efficiently while clearly caring about the work they did. They left the areas they worked in clean too.

I had my first yearly system checkup by a tech from Direct Home Services. He was very friendly and good with his inspections of the systems. He was informative about letting me know both systems look great and explained things to be aware of. Like the regular changing of the air filter. It is comforting knowing the techs that come to my house come in vehicles that are stocked with most any item that might need to be replaced, or repaired. Thank you for a great system you sold me and all the help...

Called Direct Home Services to repair my aircondition. Mike came out and did a fabulous job. He patiently figured out the problem and fixed it.
