Very solid spot to go for a brief & easy level hike. Virtually 0 minutes from the parking lot to the top of the falls, which during most of the time you can walk out into the falls on all the rockfaces, and scatter around to different spots for viewing them different ways. You'll know when you can't go out to the falls, but I've never seen this rushing too heavily before.. although it definitely happens at rare times - the shape/smoothness of the rocks speak for themselves & display it's been like that many times over the age of time. 😅 Hiking time to the base of the falls - 10 minutes, 15 minutes tops if you're moving slow & taking your time checking out different spots. Plenty of well-built stone steps & some wooden stairways. Very family friendly, bring the kiddos of all ages. Please Do NOT Litter & Respect The Planet & Sacred...

I am tempted to give Glendale Falls a bad review so it doesn't get too crowded but I fear it's too late. It's a beautiful place and used to be something of a secret. I've been going there for 35 years and there are a lot more people than in the past but it is still a wonderful place. Even if you're not steady on your feet you can get a good view from the top. The rocks are slippery but it's fun to walk down the falls. If you want a safer option there's a trail off to the side. It's also a great place to visit in the winter. The ice flows can be quite impressive. Please keep it clean and take your trash...

My first visit I was very young, a small child. I went back again and again growing up. My children have been since infancy. So, part of me is in love with the nostalgia. But it continues to be a place I enjoy sharing. People are usually respectful and clean up after themselves, so it stays beautiful. The waterfall itself, as awesome as it is, is only a piece of what the location offers. The brook, the trails, the old foundation, and the pools to swim or dip in compete with the...

Getting to the falls can be a little scary. This is remotely isolated. At a point I thought I was lost. The road becomes gravel in a couple areas and only one car can fit. At the entrance there's a singn with a little parking. You can hear the waterfall from the parking. The trail to is fairly short. It's beautiful and peaceful. There's also another trail that takes you to the bottom of the waterfall. It's a very peaceful environment.
