We try to visit each year. It’s a pleasant mini road trip from Westchester County. You can also visit the farm store for a delicious meal and pick up goodies to bring home. Suggestions: go on a weekday if you can; check their calendar and don’t go when there’s a special event unless you’re into very large crowds; if it’s been very hot or rainy before you go, the sunflowers are going to look a little sad; it’s not really fun for babies (be prepared to push them on the uneven ground in a stroller) or children who don’t like being in maze type spaces (you have to find your way out); wear insect repellant; bring your patience and have fun.

Update 2025: the sunflowers look very sad this year, not sure what happened but definitely not the same quality experience. We don’t mind making a donation for a good cause; however if traveling far might want to skip it this year. The market is always a good time and the food is delicious. Everyone...

Fun time with the kids. Adults are $10, kids 4 and up are $5. You get a map and a clue sheet, there are several clue sheets with varying difficulties, there are 10 posts within the maze and multiple choice questions tell you which way to go. Ex: Who is Ernie’s friend and roommate? A) Bert(left) B) Grover(right) C) Big Bird(straight). One of the posts was not marked well, we and several other families got lost walking in circles for over 10 minutes, several families actually backtracked and left. The right path to take was 2 paths back from the post? We eventually figured it out but it was a little frustrating. All the other clues were helpful. Walking slow it took about an hour. It dies get hot in the sun, there is not a lot of shade like the corn maze. There were also a LOT of bees, but they didn’t bother anybody. Something to be aware of though if you have a bee...

We got tripped up in the very beginning and couldn't figure it out lol. Id imagine the later in the season you go, the taller the sunflowers get, the more challenging the maze becomes! It's a beautiful area with gorgeous views. There's a little farm market with food and snacks on property down the street with an outdoor eating area overlooking a pond. Word of caution to parents of kids with sensory issues: there are people and kids that will rush by and brush up against you, there are bees everywhere (they dont bother you) but they are buzzing around like crazy. Prepare your child accordingly and it'll be a fun way to spend the day! There's a little lookout platform where you can get some pictures and watch the people down below...

The maze is fun and the sunflowers are very photogenic as you would expect. The level of difficulty is very low, but it's a nice place to take pictures and kill some time on a Summer day. Kids are sure to love it. It probably takes about a half hour to complete if walking at a moderate pace. The little trivia games feel a bit half-baked and offered either super obvious questions or no questions at all, just "strike a pose" and take a selfie. It would be nice if there were a range of trivia depending on age. But it's complimentary to the experience and not essential so it won't ruin the maze by any means. The staff were friendly, courteous, and welcoming.
