Cannon Creek Lake is a hidden treasure in Bell County! If you’re looking for peace and natural beauty, this is the spot. The lake is crystal clear and surrounded by breathtaking scenery—especially in the fall when the leaves turn and the morning fog rolls in. It’s quiet, clean, and well taken care of, with no loud boats or crowds to ruin the vibe.
Fishing here is top-notch. Whether you’re after bass or trout, there’s always something biting. The shoreline is great for bank fishing or launching a kayak, and there’s a free paved ramp if you bring a small boat. It’s also nice knowing this lake is protected and serves as a water source for Pineville, so it stays well preserved.
Perfect place to relax, cast a line, or just soak in the view. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves the outdoors and wants a peaceful day...
Read moreWent there yesterday. Looked like a nice place to bring the kids fishing ...until my 5 yo wanted to go for a walk in the woods. Needles everywhere. My kid wanted to take his shoes off and wade in the water at the boat ramp but I was concerned about him stepping on needles on the bank.
If you go bring a kayak and stick to the water. Wear shoes at all times and don't let your kids wander off in the woods. I'd also be on the lookout for whatever meth monkey left said needles. It's sad that these idiots have to ruin such a beautiful place...
