Dinner on the farm - from the farm to your table.... Don't waste your money. We had a table of 8. $125.00 a person... There were 4 courses. First - a slice of pizza with mozz, basil, 2 cherry tomatoes and balsamic. Served cold but, was the MOST edible thing on the menu. Coarse 2 - a play on a caesar salad where the core of the lettuce was left in and had to be removed on your own. Third course - squab perhaps? I've never seen a chicken thigh that small - as well as inedible crunchy rice, a few pepers and squash that was also, served cold. All topped off with dessert which was a burned biscuit with a few slices of peaches and whipped cream. They also ran out of the mixed drinks they offered. Grist house which was the ONLY saving grace and good thing about this evening, as they never let anyone down. My husband called to discuss how things went - he spoke to one person with the assurance of a phone call today. They have not called back, they have been ignoring his calls. Don't waste your time or money eating...
Read moreI was in a wedding at Freedom Farms recently. While the venue and atmosphere was beautiful there is nothing else I can say that was good about the event. Yet we waited in the bridal suite forever to do the actual entrance. Many guests ended up leaving quickly after dinner when we had our allotted time for photos bc they didn’t know where bride and groom were. It was so disappointing. She also walked around the dance floor with a broom after dinner and was cleaning things up in front of guests, like she couldn’t wait to get us out of there. The food was uneventful. Steak...

Once we found the area, we were really disappointed to see 3 frightened goats cowering in a corner. After yoga, it was obvious why the goats were terrified...several small children (not being supervised by their parents) were chasing them around the pavillion.
The after-yoga cheese tasting was even worse...crackers still in the plastic sleeves and some store-bought cheddar platter. Only alcohol was offered so I was happy I brought my bottle of water.
Overall very disappointing. We were hoping to learn more about the farm and the goats. Waste of time and money. Truly felt like none of the staff wanted to be there.
Would...
