⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars) Bayshore Waterfront Park is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon during my recent visit to the area, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. If you're seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this park is an absolute must-visit. First and foremost, the views at Bayshore Waterfront Park are simply breathtaking. The park is nestled along the waterfront, offering panoramic vistas of the sparkling waters and distant horizons. Whether you're walking along the shoreline, enjoying a picnic on the grassy fields, or simply sitting on a bench, the calming beauty of the surroundings is truly mesmerizing. The park offers a wide range of activities to suit every interest. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the well-maintained trails that wind through lush greenery and offer glimpses of local wildlife. It's a joy to explore the diverse ecosystems, from wetlands to woodlands, and witness the harmony between nature and urban development. For those who enjoy water activities, Bayshore Waterfront Park provides ample opportunities. Whether you're interested in kayaking, fishing, or simply taking a leisurely stroll along the marina, the park caters to all aquatic pursuits. The waterfront promenade is a perfect spot for an evening walk, as the setting sun paints the sky in vibrant hues. Another highlight of the park is its amenities and facilities. The picnic areas are well-equipped with clean tables, grills, and spacious seating areas, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or a peaceful lunch with friends. The restrooms are well-maintained, and there are plenty of parking spaces available, ensuring convenience for visitors. I must mention the park's dedication to environmental conservation and education. There are informative signs and displays throughout the park that provide insights into the local flora and fauna, as well as the importance of preserving the delicate ecosystem. It's a wonderful way to engage visitors and raise awareness about the environment. Lastly, I want to commend the park staff for their attentiveness and maintenance efforts. The park is clean, well-manicured, and always in top condition. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in ensuring visitors have a memorable experience. In conclusion, Bayshore Waterfront Park is a tranquil oasis that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, recreational activities, and relaxation. Whether you're a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, this park will exceed your expectations. Don't miss the opportunity to explore this hidden gem and immerse yourself in its serene ambiance.

DOG FRIENDLY!! June 2022 We initially went to Bradley Cove but as we're approaching summer beach season, they're starting to collect cash at the beach entrances/enforcing no dogs allowed until after 6 pm (if you go on a slow day before peak summer beach season, there are off-leash dogs on the beach during the day before 6 pm in the dog beach area). This was the perfect alternative. There's a lot of space if you want your dogs off-leash and away from other beach goers/dogs. Go early for parking & then to Frozen & Flavors for dog-friendly ice cream after!! Like if this helps so I'll post more reviews & so it'll get bumped to the top so people can see this before wasting a trip there during the day (like I did)!

For a person with high anxiety and little children this place was great. The walk from street to tide is small. And it’s not as crowded as larger places like Sandy Hook. There is also no fee to gain access to the beach. If you cannot find parking on the main road continue down toward the marina and you’ll find a large additional parking lot down the gravel road right next to the marina entrance. The bad news about this more hidden lot is that it does not have a bathroom like the main lot. It does have a port-o-potty that is absolutely appalling. Lots of marine life here and you’ll find fishermen also love the spot. It’s a great place for you rock and shell collectors.

It's a beautiful place very tranquil the Army corps did a great job extending the beach out. but over the weekend me and my wife had an episode that I need to speak about. I'm a dog lover I had three dogs in my life but I want for those couples that have kids be very careful... there are people that have dogs that don't put them on a leash as soon as they get to the to the beach they let them loose.. my wife came within one inch of being Malled down by a Pitbull . while she was sitting on her chair by the water this is totally unacceptable dangerous and the people that have dogs should be held to responsibility of putting them on a leash the rangers should Patrol the beach and give out fines and tickets for no compliance because it is dangerous to a young kid and adults to be bitten by specially these attack dogs I confronted the owners about it they were nonchalant like nothing just happen the reason I say this is because if you go down there and either you fall asleep on the chair or on the beach on the towel always be aware always be aware Our beaches are a place to relax and enjoy after a hard week's work and not to be on constant Lookout waiting for danger to come about.... I ask the proper authorities to take a look at these loose policies and not wait for somebody to get killed and then do...

I found this little gem meeting up with a friend in this town. I put his address in the gps and saw the beach on the map. I decided to drive over and saw how beautiful and serene the beach was. It seems like only the locals know about this place and they were all super friendly. As I walked the beached the majority of the people that I passed either said hello or good morning which was refreshing to encounter. I found a nice spot with a little bit of privacy and laid down and soaked up the sun for about three hours. It was a great way to spend my Sunday decompressing and clearing my mind. Some beach goers bought their dogs and let them swim in the water which I enjoyed watching. It made me wish I had bought my pup to enjoy as well. You can fish off the pier or the beach itself. The only thing that was really missing was a refreshments bar for food and drink. That's why I gave this place four stars. I added this place to my favorites and will definitely...
