Beautiful area! Parking is ample, yes there is a charge to get onto the park during peak season (season passes also offered). Currently there are no restaurants on Sandy Hook, but in near by Highlands or Sea Bright, there are delicious places to go eat! Bring snacks and enjoy the day! (Don't forget to...

Awesome place to go and take pictures or just enjoy the scenery. Never too crowded and can be a great workout if you explore and willing to walk a lot. Not really a beach in the sense that most think but for sight seeing it's the best you can get monmouth county beaches I think in terms...

The beach here is not as good as the one on east side, but because the nearby parking lot is not so big, it is not very crowded. Also water is very shallow and you can see lots of little fish swimming around. So it’s enjoyable for family...
