Ideal Beach — Attraction in Middletown Township

We visited Ideal beach in last days of August, weather was good if you just want to walk on sand. It was free few years back but now they have put up parking charges, parking begins with $2 per hour, ocean looks same from this beach as it seems from other beaches but water has gravel and few shells we go to collect shells and precious gravel as my kids adore those. They have cleaned sand for smooth walk so didnot see garbage . Good thing was presence of coast...

I like this beach.I have been coming here for several years now. It's calm and relaxing. There are no life guards due to the calm waters. You do need to pay for parking unless you find street parking. Two weeks a part I ended up with mosquito bites and from the water. I will not go to any beach until next year. Went to this beach to see sunrise and it was magical. Totally worth it . Parking was free because we went early morning but it is paid parking for rest of the day. Clean beach with small waves. Not very ideal for swimming. This beach does not have a volleyball net. Parking is very limited...
