It is truly an amazing place for fishing, picnicing, kayaking and playing games. It has a nice parking lots and bunch of pavillions. It is full of people during the weeknds in summer, so I recommend getting there earlier to get yourselves a good spot for a picnic.

The lake is nice and core creek park has boats and peddle boats for use by individuals who want to rent them. You can also bring your own boat or kayak, but must purchase a seasonal sticker for your boat. Fishing is also allowed, but fish are not edible due to chemicals in the water. Currently come part of the lake will be shut down to dredge a portion of the lake later this summer. Currently lake water is not fit to...
