This park has very well maintained trails that are clearly marked. The entrance is easy to see, there's a good-sized parking lot with two VERY clean port-a-pots, trail maps and a large trail map on a marquee. I thought it was really nice that there was a 3 step riding block for horse riders to mount up from, and there were picnic tables and benches a plenty. This is a beautiful state park with some gorgeous views....
Read moreTrails to the water are ankle deep in horse waste. We had to walk through the brush, forest and ticks to get around the mess. If a person brought their dog and let them poo everywhere without picking it up they'd be fined and banned. Horse people should have to atleast move their mess off trail. Shame on you and the state for using my tax money to build something the public...
