We try to go to a pumpkin patch a few times during the season and rarely are we disappointed. The kiddos (10, 8 & 3) all got the combo hayride/pick a pumpkin from the patch for $12 each. We opted for the hayride only. Sorry, I cannot remember the exact price, maybe $8? The ride was fun but BEWARE there were no seats. You sit on the hay and we saw several elderly folks with their grandkids struggling to stand up. (Okay, me too!!) The little scary trailer thing was not worth $2.50, skip it. The corn maze was fun and the kids loved the cow tractor rides! They each rode them twice. The frozen cider and pumpkin treats were good. The pumpkin selection was nice. The thing that ruined it for us was the pumpkin target game. The kids all ran up with their tickets and were told it wasn’t working. They were disappointed but what can you do. They ran to the playground and another family went to the pumpkin game and it miraculously worked for them, and the families that came after them. Not kidding, the looks in my grandkids faces broke my heart. It was amazing that 30 seconds before it was not working but suddenly when all the white families came it started. Hummmmm. When something doesn’t feel right trust your instincts. So, this is a do not return for us. But the girl doing the cow tractor pull- great job! The kids were screaming and laughing and throughly...
Read moreLook I have brought my daughter here for years. Love this place. Hurts to write this review. Honestly the lady at the entrance is making me write this. So tha COVID is a joke here. They say they make everyone wear a mask....check the website. Reality no masks for 50% of people there. I get it...we are just trying to survive as a business. But! here is where I get upset. Dude making kettle corn took of his mask and face shield and made kettle corn. No biggie right but the real scary thing is the girl selling food and tickets for the pumpkin hayride. So you wear no mask and see every customer. Longest line there. PLEASE! Be the family farm you used to be. Keep your family safe should include your customers right? Please note I still bought $50+ worth of pumpkins. I write this in hopes that you change your procedures. You have the ability to keep all your...
Read moreWe had the best time McMonigle Farms Pumpkin Fest. This place is a hidden Ohio gemstone.
There are many fun activities for kids of various age ranges: hayrides (to pick your own pumpkin), huge pumpkins to buy (very unique ones too), corn maze for big kids, shooting corn at targets, smaller hay maze for toddlers, sunflower fields, kiddie rides, super unique playset, haunted barn, pumpkin fudge, the best cider (that alone is worth the trip), fun animals, great scenery to take photographs, and more! They're adding something new every year.
The entry fee is free which was nice too! And it wasn't crowded. We had an amazing time picking out pumpkins and more. Thanks for creating the best...
