Updated 05/28/2023 I purchased a house in Townsend, Delaware February 9th, 2023. Me & my wife started shopping at this store around the following week and have been shopping there every week just about. Me and my wife love and adore this store, as the fresh produce and overall quality of the products are amazing. When we first started shopping at this store it appeared that some of the staff were unapproachable and a little uneasy, however after sometime it appeared, thatās not the case and it possibly was me expecting everyone to be people persons and thatās unfair to Wiley Farms and I should know better because I worked with people the last 27 years and everyone is not the same, I donāt know, but I know this, the last couple weeks have been AMAZING!!! in dealing with the staff, they are like family to me and my wife and after yesterday 05/28/2023 It was imperative that I give Wiley Farms (5) stars. If I could give this store (6) stars I would because the quality of the food, products and staff have been nothing short of incredible!!!! I believe and standby this store.I encourage any and everyone in the neighborhood and abroad to patronize this store as Me and my wife strongly believe this is the best neighborhood store in the area. Also check out the picture of the exotic cheese I tried from there itās simply amazing with a glass of wine!!!! I also encourage you to try the chicken salad it is awesome!!The organic turkish figs are wonderful, I put them in a mason jar with olive oil and let them soak for a few days and eat them as a snack. In closing, thereās no reason to shop at any other store in the area if you can get the products from this store at a much higher quality, and you must remember āYou truly are...

But my customer service experience was pretty disappointing. I have difficulty walking and it's apparent. What I needed was at the very back of the greenhouse/garden area. I just needed a tomato cage...so you think the lady who told me where they were might have offered to get me one as a courtesy after watching me struggle to walk? Would have been nice, and it would have been kind. I would have given it only two stars but for the loviness of the flowers and other plants. So five stars for everything except the customer service; 1.5 stars for their customer service..UPDATE: Went into the produce/grocery building and I changed my rating from 3 stars to 5! Excellent customer service and the produce was wonderful. I called first before going to see if they had greens in stock with the Christmas holiday so close. Having none besides kale in the immediate store area, they asked me to hold a minute while someone went back to their storage area to see if there were any bundles collards in the back, which there were. They brought them up front and held them for me until I got there--that and the broccoli i had also inquired about. This was my first time going into the grocery building but it won't be my last! Wow is all I can say! So many quality items and such beautiful produce! I felt like a kid in a candy store. If you haven't shopped there, stop in and see...

I took my wife here as a surprise to go flower picking for our anniversary. I walked in and requested a bucket to pick flowers. Marilyn or Minnie was the cashier. Before she gave me materials, she asked me to pay. This was unusual because all of the other times that I have been to pick flowers, I have paid at the end. Because they still have to take the bucket back, add water to the bag, and give the flower food packet. I told her that I have never paid in advance and the even the sign at the cashiers register said that you pay at the end. I was frustrated because this seemed like my wife and I were being profiled. My thoughts became reality when she said, āIf you donāt pay now, you may try to leave without paying.ā I was appalled. I told her that she was making me feel extremely uncomfortable and upset. I had already paid for flower picking, plus it was my anniversary, so we picked flowers anyway. When I returned to the register to have my flowers packed up. She pointed to the sign and said āSee, we just changed the sign.ā I looked at the sign and someone had taken a sharpie and blacked out the wording and wrote in pay before you pick. This was a terrible experience to have, especially on my anniversary. I have always had great customer experiences...
