Wishing Well Park is *now* open! 📍Midlothian, VA Wishing Well Park is reopen for play! Maintained by Project SWING, this community park *just* finished phase 1 of its renovation with more updates coming soon. Wishing Well Park is completely fenced in — it has open space to run around, a sand play area + new play features. 📸 SNAP SHOT OF THE UPDATES 📸 1️⃣ accessible pathways 2️⃣ a universal merry go round 3️⃣ play equipment for kiddos 2-5 years old: a sail boat, a playhouse & balance elements 4️⃣ swings - saucer swing, parent/child swings, baby swings 5️⃣ a stage for creative play & musical instruments 6️⃣ a labyrinth & rocks for climbing 7️⃣ a large sunshade 8️⃣ sensory play areas: a mud kitchen & sensory bins ⚠️ When I visited last week, the stage, mud kitchen & sensory bins hadn’t been added yet. Elements are being added over the next few weeks! •••••• 🔜 Phase 2 Updates coming soon! Super great gated, fenced in community playground. Parents! There are 2 picnic tables and 6 benches. Lots of shade depending on time of day. No immediate on site restrooms other than a porta potty. I've heard the church next door will allow you to use their bathroom.

Large, open play area with accessible play equipment as well as traditional play equipment. Lots of good options for climbing and full body motion to wear down the Littles. Well maintained, and great layout for families to have their children play....
