Camden park is a great place to take your children to play in one of the multiple play grounds, or to run in an open field. You can bring your baseball/softball equipment and practice on one of three ball diamonds in the park (as long as no games are being held at that time). If you like frisbee golf, this park features two of the best courses in the mid-west, and often has tournaments. Don't forget the refreshments as you can picnic in the open fields or use one of the many pavilions around the park. In winter you can enjoy a snowy slide down the large man made hills and warm up in the heated lodge at the east end of the park when things get too cold. Read moreVery big park. It was insanely hot the day we went, so we couldn't fully enjoy it. There are 3 playgrounds from what I could see, a big gazebo, pavilion, and 2 disc golf courses. 1 is in the open and 2 is in the forest. My son lost his disc just on the putting range of Camden 2, looking around it looked very easy to lose discs through the whole course. I think the 1st hole you're throwing over a big ravine with tall greenery surrounding every hole... hence losing his disc. Camden 1 course seemed very open, possibly still fun, but with the really hot sun we didn't want to play. It looked like the grass...
