The City Park here in Milan hold many fond memories . Family Reunions , Birthdays , Church Picnic /outtings or just simple Family grill out an picnic . Milan City Park got it all , hey we even got frisbee 18 hole golf . Talk bout uniqueness ! Maybe you should just do a walk about , i did today , it was amazing !

Highly impressive. Came for the Disc Golf and was amazed at how nice this entire park is. It has everything! Even climate controlled Restrooms. Nicely laid out course as well. Front 9 are a whole lot of straight easy holes, then goes on to more wooded areas and even a water hazard.

The Milan City Park is a great asset to the city. There’s been so many new things added the last several years and it looks great. The park staff do an excellent job. There’s an informative website that lists all it has to offer.

OK, so here is what there is: Big big 160 acres. I feel safe in the park, which is important. It has a campground for RVs and areas for lots of activities as well as just enjoying the countryside scenery etc. Plenty of parking. I love the Spirits Playground which is for pre-teenage kids including those youngsters who are less-abled. It's fenced and its entrance is marked by a big blue horse. There's an amphitheater and pavilions, which have a few events each year. A small outdoor swimming pool which has been closed due to COVID. Tennis Baseball and Softball fields that are sometimes used by the local High School and some local leagues so you can watch as well as play. Pickleball courts too. The sports areas are lighted. An arena for horse shows. Restrooms but they are closed for winter. Courses for RC cars. There's a fitness track about a half mile long and a walking trail about 1.5 miles that can be used by bikes. The whole thing is great and outside the town area so it's also a quiet and detached area. I love spending time there just sitting and chilling or watching or walking. The best one in this part...

It's been better. We were here for a birthday party, which we've had here before and was great. However, this time wasn't as great. Someone with the park had ran what looked like a disc, based on the marks, all around the pavilion. My guess is they were trying to level the ground, but instead it made several ruts and made it hard to walk on in places. The biggest disappointment was that the horse on the playground was FULL of some sort of tiny insects. There were coming out of a crack where you would sit. Before a adult noticed it, several of the kids had them all over them, including in their hair. When loading the car afterwards, I noticed that our boxes also had the tiny bugs in them. I hauled several things in my truck to keep from infesting my daughter's car. They survived the ride in the bed of my truck! I even found them in my truck the next day!! This park had always been well kept, but I felt this was unacceptable! Someone should have caught this if proper maintenance and cleaning were...

It's a stand-out city park for this part of Tennessee. It's far enough out side of the town and plenty big enough to have lots of quiet areas even when the activity and parking areas are busy. Looks like it's bug free enough for shorts and t shirt. There's a swimming pool but I've never used it. Covered areas to hire for parties etc.

My favorite is the walking track. It's just over 1.5 miles around and one of the biggest in the area. It has some park bench seats but away from the parking areas it's open so there's not much shade on really hot days. Because it's so wide and open around the trail I have always felt safe there though I'm always prepared in case. I wouldn't dream of sunbathing here.

West Tennessee doesn't have as many free open spaces as I would like, so this is a really good...
