We were day- use visitors this time. However, rest rooms were clean, Beach space for many activities was plentiful, some Sandy Beach some Stone Beach. There was a place to allow our dog to play fetch into the water. In the area we swam there was some seaweed, and some plant debris in the water. We were surprised how warm the water was for this early in the season.( Memorial Day weekend.) We learned you can rent Kayaks and paddleboards $15 for 3 hours and $30 for all day. We went to the east campground that was all mowed and taken care of!! I feel like they don't care about the bottom campground anymore. Seems like it's all about the top even if they have something going on they always do it up top. Y can't they take care of the bottom and have activities...
