Since I am a huge animal lover of all kinds this place where I come almost daily if not every other day for what I call mental health therapy. Since I come here so often I have become a super big fan of the goats. Especially oreo I call her the sassy but classy gal. She is black with white in the middle just like an ore cookie. When I visit her I get what I call mama loves she gets excited when she sees me or when I give her scratches. When some of the others come and want to say hi she grunts and pushes them off the little ledge. She is kind in every way and makes me laugh (which is really hard at times for me to do) I really enjoyed the time I was able to work there last year but due to asthma and COPD it made it unbearable and person doctor orders I had to quit. But I never stopped going. Its hard finding a good therapist that you can feel comfortable talking to and be felt as if they were really helping and the high cost. At the kensington farm center you pay 40.00 for the year you get the utmost love and compassion from the animals. Which when I go I try to walk around and see everybody. The staff and management are wonderful. And make sure if you see donna( the lady that takes great care of the flowers and landscaping) let her know how awesome she is doing. We all need a...
Read moreEven in October they have so many cute animals to look at. RIGHT NOW there are baby pigs in the farm house. It looks closed but it's not. The babies, oct 14,2022, look about 2 weeks old IF THAT!! And they have two slightly older piglets in their side. About 1-2 months old. And a couple gorgeous Rabbits in there as well. And the cows actually LOVED being scratched on her head. They have goats, Donkeys, the horses (out in the pasture today), geese, ducks and chickens. And you can't forget the Wild Turkeys that flew into the area. This was so nice. We saw many younger children with their families and a couple older couples as well. Many ages appreciated the beauty of this park. And on our way in we saw their herb garden. We took a picture of a few of...
Read moreAwesome for younger children to experience animals they are not morally around. For what it is, it's cleaned and maintained well. I've gone 5 times over a span of ten years. They have an area for the children to interact with items that are used in the farming process, which is very neat. They have a gigantic Bugs Bunny that is essentially a height board. The comparison of the pics of my child from each of our visits BLEW MY MIND! They also have a corn maze which now my child is tall enough to see over so it's not a real challenge at this point. I would definitely recommend this for younger children! Have good fun...
