Stonehaven Sculptures — Attraction in Milford

What a magical place Stonehaven is! We celebrated our many August birthdays there and it was a day that we will treasure forever. A mom of 4 adults...I had so much fun on the water slide, jumping off the cliffs, then rock climbing to get back on the cliffs, kayaking and paddle boarding…we took advantage of the tour which I highly recommend! Keith shared his photo album with us, so cool to see the transformation over time. And finally he took the kids on a dino hunt. Keith was so patient with the very rambunctious toddlers, and although they weren't thrilled that she wasn't real, I still thoroughly enjoyed finding her and hearing all about how she came to be…and...we saw a huge owl on the way (a real one, LOL)! I took all of my yard games with us, but we never even set them up! Keith and Ellen are so attentive from parking everyone, sitting and chatting with anyone on the deck, and making sure you've got everything you need. A long overdue review, Keith my apologies for this. I attended a company picnic some years ago hosted at Stonehaven. I have to say, we had a great time! The property, the quarry is breathtaking. The water is amazing, a spectacular place for any type of event. Keith was a wonderful host, a great guy. Keith has all of the history, pictures from when the quarry was active and if you enjoy history, which I personally do, he enjoys sharing all he knows. I would recommend Stonehaven for any type of event. The Trexler’s are truly amazing people as well. This is a hidden gem! I was fortunate to be a guest at a friends company summer splash party. The history of the quarry is fascinating! Definitely a labor of love for the owners Keith and Ellen. They have created a unique event center that has hidden treasures everywhere you turn, from swimming in the crystal clear quarry with it massive granite walls, to the sculptures that Keith has created. Walking along the trails in the woods to the reveal! (You must see for your self) the area Keith has made for the dinning and a catering is so fitting with the landscape.
