A great park to go to if you're looking for good, well kept paths and adventure; these woods are equipped with a sort of geo-caching-esque game where one with a phone and a QR code reader can start their adventure to find all of the points of interest. It took us a good while as some are cleverly hidden.

You can also find some small models here and there, log benches for resting, and an outdoor classroom area making this a great spot for teachers looking for a field trip to teach the outdoors or other nature-related topic.

A good getaway from the hustle of every day life not too far from civilization if you are trying to avoid a...

If looking for an outside party venue, this is a great option! We held my daughter's high school graduation party here. The staff was great to work with. They were excellent to communicate with and VERY accommodating. The pavilion is perfect for any kind of summer weather. I would have rated it 5 stars, but it's a walk from the parking lot to the pavilion, with only one spot for a vehicle at the...

Headwaters Park is lovely! We are not local, but are regular visitors. The trails are varied, and the environmental education focus is well executed, with to-the-point graphics and a host of interesting and meaningful examples of construction, conservation, and gardening. It is right off the highway, so is a perfect stop for lunch, a quick dog walk, or a respite...

Beautiful area. Saw a few deer. Didn't walk more than a mile. Trails seem short, but this was my first visit. It was a bit muddy too. Kept us on trail. Might take a shot at XC skiing thru the area if it extends far enough. Any suggestions for XC? I'll take'm :)

Nice place for a hike in the woods. Paths are wide and well maintained. We even found this little snake seen in the picture. There are a bunch of warnings about ticks posted on the educational building but we stayed on the paths and didn’t come across any.

Great place to go hiking/ geocaching. Not many people know about it. It's kind of secluded and off the beaten path. Smaller park but it seems the city is trying to improve it and more changes are coming. Also great apple trees but you gotta look for them.
