Large beach and quiet. We went on a Saturday morning and there was barely anyone. I had my dog so we went to the unguarded area but the guarded area was closed to swimming anyways. I think life guards are not always on duty. The shore is pretty much pebbles and can hurt the feet but a few feet into the water is mostly sand. We loved the beach overall but we didn't stay long because we were attacked by black flies whose bite hurts! My poor dog has at least a dozen on him at all times and they were driving him crazy. I also didn't love that 4 larger boats anchored a few feet from the shore and had jet skis. Not only the noise but also the gas wasn't great.
Parking is large and there were barely 10 cars when I left. There are bathrooms and showers on site.
