Presque Isle: Beach 10 Budny — Attraction in Millcreek Township

Large beach and quiet. We went on a Saturday morning and there was barely anyone. I had my dog so we went to the unguarded area but the guarded area was closed to swimming anyways. I think life guards are not always on duty. The shore is pretty much pebbles and can hurt the feet but a few feet into the water is mostly sand. We loved the beach overall but we didn't stay long because we were attacked by black flies whose bite hurts! My poor dog has at least a dozen on him at all times and they were driving him crazy. I also didn't love that 4 larger boats anchored a few feet from the shore and had jet skis. Not only the noise but also the gas wasn't great.

Parking is large and there were barely 10 cars when I left. There are bathrooms and showers on site.

I really want to come back but not before I find a way to deal...

When Our Kids were younger, My Wife & I would take them swimming to Beach 10, Otherwise known as BUDNY BEACH. All of Us would cherish Our Days at PRESQUE ISLE STATE PARK bc of the Beautiful surroundings & the Great Sandy Beaches & the cold water of LAKE ERIE. Our Kids would look at Beach 10 as Our private swimming Beach & Many other Families would come & enjoy the quiet area & the sound of the water hitting the beach.
