So well made that it could be passed on to the next generation of hard working, industrious folk. Read moreMy family and I recently visited both the NH farm museum as well as the adjacent walking trails that surround the property. The museum and farm store are great, family-friendly places to visit. There's lots of learning opportunities here for children as well. We brought our 2 dogs with us too and after we toured the buildings, we headed to the trails for a walk in the woods. The trails were in rough shape and hadn't been touched since the major storm we had in April. It made walking challenging, but we had a great time nonetheless. Read moreOur homeschool group enjoyed our Colonial Experience today, the staff was friendly and made it an enjoyable experience. we enjoyed a tour of the farm house and learned about the history of the property, and the family that owned it, the kids made butter, ground up cranberries and oranges to make cranberry sauce, we had a musket demonstration and parents were able to try it out, we also toured the farm and large barn full off cool items!
