This was my first time visiting, and this little lake has some amazing views! Be sure to get some hiking or climbing in around the back side of the lake at Penitentiary Hollow trail. It's an awesome place to see the amazingly well preserved ancient concrete structures from a society with no documented history I have been able to find. And though you might be told that they are natural, they do not fit the description of sedimentary sandstone, whatsoever. And there is a hidden gem of our history down in Texas, near the town of Mineral Wells. 🌄
