My wife and I recently visited for the first time, and it was, without a doubt, the most incredible day of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat, but the actual experience exceeded our wildest expectations. Thank you to the team at LunaSea for making this day truly unforgettable!

An Alpaca Paradise The moment you step foot on the farm, you’re surrounded by beautiful, gentle alpacas who are just as curious and friendly as you’d hope. We were immediately struck by how well-cared-for and content the animals seemed, a testament to the dedication of the LunaSea staff. The alpacas are approachable, and we had countless opportunities to feed and pet them, which was a delight for both of us. Each alpaca had its own personality, and it was so much fun getting to know them – they each added their own special charm to our experience.

A Friendly, Knowledgeable Staff The staff at LunaSea truly went above and beyond. They were not only incredibly friendly and welcoming but also exceptionally knowledgeable. They took the time to educate us about the alpacas, their history, their habits, and how they’re cared for. Their kindness and enthusiasm were contagious, and they made us feel like part of the LunaSea family.

Unforgettable Hands-On Experiences One of the highlights of the day was the hands-on experiences offered throughout the visit. We got to feed, walk, and even take photos with the alpacas. These interactions were genuinely heartwarming, and we cherished every minute. The staff provided everything we needed, from food to brushes, to ensure both us and the alpacas were comfortable and happy. We even got to witness a baby alpaca nursing and playing in the field—a moment we’ll never forget.

We enjoyed a peaceful stroll around the grounds, taking in the fresh air and natural beauty of the landscape. I’ll admit, we are recurring guests because we just can’t get enough. On many separate occasions, I have returned with my children, my neighbors, out of town friends and family. This farm is such a treasure! And it's super affordable. It's much more enjoyable than staring down a tower where orange trees used-to-be. It's a short (1-2hr) escape from your everyday chaos that brings true refreshment to your psyche. King Fowler (the owner) gives a fun and entertaining tour, applicable for all ages (young children - elderly, and yes, he can accommodate special needs guests as well.) He raises his animals so that you can actually get to interact with these beautiful and soft creatures. The babies can be a little feisty (only when food is present) because they haven't learned "manners" yet, but all of his Alpacas and Llamas are gentle. Have absolutely NO FEAR! And there is no farm stench! Alpaca poop, looks like coffee beans and doesn't smell, but definitely wear sneakers. I visited Luna Sea Alpaca Farm last December for my best friend’s birthday. This was such a wonderful experience. The owners give small group tours so you do have to call ahead to reserve a spot and let them know how many tickets you need ~ but this is all to keep the animals from being stressed by too many people. This makes your tour much more enjoyable for you and the animals.

The tickets are so inexpensive and your tour is given by the owner King. He is warm, funny, and shares a lot of his knowledge with the group. He lets you feed them if you’re willing and the Alpacas have such funny personalities you will fall in love, I promise.

The terrain is fairly easy to navigate, just keep in mind you will be walking through dirt and grass. There are tables and chairs under shady trees to sit if you need to. The bathroom is nice and clean too. The perfect end to your stay is a stop by the small gift shop with adorable alpaca gifts.

The whole family works hard to take care of the animals and give you a great experience when you visit them, and they periodically hold special events for people to attend. Luna Sea Alpaca Farm and the family are so special, I can’t wait to go...
