We have camped from our home in Minnesota to Alaska, the west coast, Arizona, Tennessee, and most of the midwestern states. This is absolutely the most obnoxious and disrespectful bunch of seasonal campers we have ever experienced! This park has 80 sites, 70 of which are seasonal. The non seasonal are scattered amongst the seasonal. These seasonal treat this place like their own private party place. The loud music started about 10 pm. We heard drunks hollering, cat calling, whistling, as they “sang” to the music until 1 am. We called the sheriff twice as the park manager did not give us an after hours contact number. No one ever came to stop the drunken crowd. The park manager does not want short term campers as we had to fight to get one of the 4 open sites for a Friday night. He therefore lets the seasonals control the place and does not enforce any of the rules. It is obvious he has taken the easy route by appeasing the seasonals to the expense of any camper who just wants a quiet and respectful experience. The county should either replace the management or remove all of the non seasonal sites and let this campground be only for seasonals. You would be much better off camping at Walmart, which we refuse to do, but after this experience, maybe would! Thankfully we had only a...
Read moreHave never been at a campground where the seasonal people were so blatantly disrespectful (not all, but at least 3 side-by-side sites nearby). They started their very loud music and hollering and screaming at about 10pm on Friday night. Their music was so loud that we could not hear our tv at a moderate volume, and all windows were closed. We called the campground manager who did seem to address it quickly, but the same thing happened again on Saturday night. We again called the campground manager who requested that we call the sheriff, as he was at a loss as to how to deal with them (here's an idea, have them removed from the campground!). The following afternoon, we were confronted by one of the seasonals and asked to "grow some balls" multiple times - don't understand how these folks are allowed to continue to stay at this campground. Other than that, the campground was VERY nice - we'd like to say we'll be back, but there's not a chance we'll ever go back. If the management cannot handle their patrons accordingly, this is not the right place for us campers who just want a peaceful,...
