Lake Hanska County Park — Attraction in Minnesota

We have been going camping at this park for 5 years. The park itself is pretty. They have nice trails. A nice beach and picnic area down the road from the campground. However, their showers and bathrooms in the campground have gotten bad. 2 womens showers and 1 not working. 2 sinks, neither worked at all, no water to them. Building looks like it needs a lot of TLC. We also had very noisy and disrespectful campers who didn't respect park rules and played very loud music until 5am. Otherwise, it was an ok trip. I love bringing the whole family here to bbq and swim. We are frequent visitors here and come every season. The kids love to swim and jump off the swimming dock, while us adults can relax in the shade. They offer camping sites, there are showers and restrooms available. Pet friendly place to bring fido our pup loves the walks. It has available a short walking trail. Will be going back again...

Great camping . I left a message with the caretaker there and he promotly returned my call . He was very friendly and helpful , answered all my questions . The water was a thick opaque green color though , I wouldn't want to swim in it the day we were there .
