I planned a weekend getaway with my family at seven clans casino in Thief River mn. On September 14, 15, of 2018. I was approached by security who refused to identify themselves at 3:30 am and made threats and claimed he was related to the chairman, like whats that got to do with the circumstances because there machine malfunctioned and didn't put a gentleman money back on the card, and the gentleman didn't put his chair forward signaling there is money in the machine either so when my significant other sat down and put in money and she played a couple times and she said she won and so we cashed it and played for three hours before being questioned. Now I'm banned because I won't pay someone back because the casino maching malfunctioned, I even asked to see the footage to prove what the security was talking about, they refused. I was always taught don't believe what you hear, and believe half of what you see. Seven clans casino is a foreign sovereign nation so it's more difficult to sue them, because it's up to the share holders if you can sue them or the government can step in or you can fight them on technicalities that the land is state land, otherwise in there eyes they can do no wrong. The casino swindled me out of money and refused to give my money back, the sad thing is my family built this casino and there ideals went into the project and I can never show my face there from the embarrassment and the experience which this casino gave me. I had to have my own security of 6 cars fully armed because of the threats. This can happen to anyone so beware. Just an fyi even if we noticed that he left money in the machine after putting your own money in your still banned from the casino for 30 days. I couldn't even give this...

We got here at 4pm... waited in line for an hour to check in... as I was next in line the lady closed her drawer and left... putting me at the back of another line. I did not get my room till 530... the worst idea of having one line per check in employee.... why not one line and who ever is next gets the employee who opens up next.... one lady was booking 5 rooms. It's the worst hotel check in experience I have ever had..... we decided to go to the cafe for dinner. We walked by the buffet as we went to our table... it looked awful. Meatloaf was over cooked dry and crumbs. The pork chops were burnt to a crisp.. the chicken was pale and looked un appetizing. So we decided we were going to order off the menu... after the waitress sat us we asked for menus she stated they were only serving the buffet and the special. We left. My son went to the arcade and played a bunch of games... hes 16 and was with my dad...he told the attendant that it wasnt transfering his tickets... the attendant told him... it was 10 o'clock he needed to close... to tell him in the morning..... my daughter went to the gift shop she was interested in a blanket they had... no one seemed to know how much it was... today as we were leaving... she wanted to stop back in... they had been open at 845 when we went back at 930 they were closed again with a sign they would return at 1130. The water park... no towels anywhere... so I dripped all the way back to my room in soggy flip flops. This is the worst customer experiences I have ever...

Room was very clean. Front desk person was very good. All people at the door were very good at there job very disappointed in restaurant Friday night went to have supper at 5:45 restaurant was closed waitress was in front so the person at the door asked her when they would be open she said I don’t know. So we thought we would go to the snack shop it was also closed according to sign for 15 minutes it wasn’t open the rest of the night. Restaurant finally opened we sat at our table for half an hour before the waitress finally brought us our drinks and took our order we were the only ones in there. We ordered the walleye dinner. It was not very good. . Next morning we went for breakfast sat we sat for half an hour before getting our drinks and order taken. This time there was only one other table and their order had been taken before we arrived. Waited again for over one hour and no food asked waitress when it would be ready she said oh I forgot to put it in we left. In the casino on Friday night ticket was stuck in the machine twice had to wait for an hour and a half no one came went to cashier he was very professional and told him he called and got someone right away. Very disappointing stay. We used to go there all the time and told everyone how good it was. We will NOT be going back again for...

3 friends and I stayed at the "new" hotel near Red Lake Dec 14th-16th, 2018. We were all very disappointed immediately with your rooms. It is best described as a cheap motel in the seedy part of town. The rooms were beat up and dirty. Sheets had holes. The heater unit was melted and controls unreadable. The TV in one room didnt work. The walls were gross and rm 209 apparently had a blood stained floor. When I complained, the desk very nicely suggested we could have the Executive Suite. Though I think because of her inexperience the room did not have enough beds. So we were forced to return to the first rooms. Later from another member of our group did I find there was a "better" class of rooms on the first floor. The drug use and smoking in "non-smoking" areas was rampant. Through some others in our group I heard the food was terrible. I don't post negative reviews on Google until I have an opportunity to reach out to management. But in this case I believe future guests should be warned of your misleading advertisements. I thoroughly enjoyed the ice fishing but your accommodations really put a damper on the overall experience.

Well, this was housekeepings attempt at "cleaning" my room. 3rd day of left over food set By the garbage (i moved it so i wouldn't Trip over it during the night). An excellent job making the bed. With the sheets that are to short to reach the end of the bed. No alcohol, e cigarettes, cigars, or winning on there very select few slot machines. My question is, who loses more money. Visitors, or the casino itself?

Terrible place not because I lost money I actually won but sat down at this machine and half way through my 100 bucks the machine malfunctioned and was told there was no slot attendant on premises and no other employees or management were able to fix machine so I had to wait an hour + for a slot attendant to show up to resolve issue with machine what a joke….
