Unfortunately it was a big NO in several ways. My daughter and I made reservations & were so excited to go there. A few things: While you think everyone there has made reservations online and there is a cap at who can attend, this is not true. They don't check and people can just walk in. It's far too crowded and cannot withstand that many people for the ordering capacity. It opens at 5 p.m. and we arrived at 5:30. At that time the line to order pizzas was extremely long (say 75 people) and the wait time showed it was an hour wait for pizza. We got in line hoping it would go down but instead it went up to 1 1/2 hours. So, instead of pizza (which was the whole reason we went there), we ordered nachos - no meat - just plain old chips, with queso cheese, quac, a few tomatoes and a quirt of sour cream. After a 45 minute wait, I went up to check on them and the gal sharply said, "oh sorry we ran out of queso, it will be awhile." At the same time there were several others complaining about the wait for nachos. We were up next to receive ours so, she gave us one on the counter and we took them and they were the soggiest most tasteless nachos ever! Every chip was soggy. Like how can this happen?!? How can you even serve these to people after a 45 minute wait. No one that worked there seemed to care that people were upset - no apologies from ANYONE working accept the teller who was trying to refund people's money. The animals were sparce - a few chickens, 2 sheep and a few sheep and a few goats - and all caged so you can't even pet them.
Maybe it was an off night. But another review mentioned similar things with the long wait. They really do need to have someone checking online reservations at an entry gate so people can truly enjoy...
Β Β Β Read moreMy partner and I were genuinely excited to try this farm after hearing great things. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we hoped for.
We ordered at 7:20 PM. Two pizzas and a pasta salad. The quoted wait time was 90 minutes. We decided to wait because the atmosphere was lovely at first. But as the evening went on, the energy shifted. Guests began to leave, and by 9:00 PM, we still hadnβt received our food. We are very patient people, but we went to ask for an update and were told it would be another 30 minutes.
We finally received our pizzas at 9:45 PM. By then, we were exhausted, covered in mosquito bites, and just wanted to go home. We asked for boxes and were told they had run out. Our pizzas were packed in small takeout containers that barely held the food.
To make matters worse, we never received our pasta salad. When we asked, the response was, βWe ran out of that a long time ago.β We had ordered over two hours earlier. It was clear the kitchen was not keeping track of inventory but continued to accept orders for items they no longer had. That felt careless and unfair.
We also received gluten-free pizzas. We did not ask for gluten-free and were not told we would be getting them. No communication, no heads-up, just a quiet swap of something we did not want.
We left without the full meal we paid for, with substitute pizzas we did not order, in poor packaging, and no real apology beyond a refund. It was frustrating and honestly disappointing.
This could have been a really special night. Instead, it felt poorly managed and thoughtless.
If you are looking for a smooth, enjoyable pizza farm night, I would recommend looking...
Β Β Β Read moreWow! What fun... get there early and stand close to the area where they take your order. We had three pizzas, cheese, and two "meat" that had sausage, pepperoni, salami, and ham. I'm not sure what the sweet was on top, but we all thought it was honey. I always ask for golden brown (when I remember) as I do not like a black crust or too much black on top. I don't want the fist flavor I taste to be burt. I did not make the order, and when I saw the char, I said, "Oh no." In the picture, it looks too burnt for me, but it was great. It had just enough in the bite to be good... SO GOOD! Our granddaughter wore herself out playing on all the outdoor activities. My only negative is that the kids' toys need some TLC! It's stated "Play At Your Own Risk," but I'd say to the owner... "Take up a collection and do some repairs! My four year old granddaughter had a blast, no problems. Goats, pigs, chickens, and baby chicks in a pin area. The food was great, wine too! The food line never ended after an hour or so. Pizzas came out quick. We were about eighth in line when they opened. Lots of seating that filled quickly. It is one of those "must...
