Very old but nice park. Had reservation arrived at 11pm after office closed checked in next morning. Only sites 1, 14 and 15 have sewer and are $2 more per night. Dump station is by site #1 and at a strange angle. Only 16 RV sites total. First night only 8 taken including us, second night 7 one camper we never saw. As mentioned in previous reviews no Wifi and Verizon signal extremely weak. This normally would not be an issue as being disconnected was nice! Except the thunderstorm at 3am that was rocking camper, advise having a weather radio with you as we had to idea if it was severe or not. Water appears to be well water and has a slight tint but no odor and the pressure seemed low but used my water regulator anyway. Restrooms are old but clean, previous review said disgusting to which I have to disagree. The latex pain on the walls in the showers has peeled off but is only cosmetic everything is functional and clean. No AC in restrooms but windows open and there is heat for winter campers. Laundry area only one washer and dryer but there are connections for three of each. We did not utilize the laundry facility but I could hear the dryer running from my camp site. I was unaware of the cafe and snack bar we packed plenty of food so had to need to...

This was my 1st visit to Leroy Percy State Park, but will not be my last. This park is a great place for a quiet weekend getaway in the woods and on the water. We had rented cabin 5B and had friends drive down from West Tennessee to spend the weekend with us & they were just as impressed as we were. The cabins are on one end of the lake on a dead end road, so you don"t have traffic running back & forth. When you walk out the backdoor of cabin 5A/B you are only abou 25 feet from the lakes edge which makes for a great view & place to fish. The cabins are plenty roomy and well equipped though the showers are only big enough for skinny folks & small children(My Only Complaint). If you are really concerned with privacy you will want to rent both 5A & 5B since these cabins are actually Duplexes. I think they may have some cabins that aren"t duplexes, but you would need to verify this when making reservations. All in All this is one of the best parks I have stayed at over the last 25+ years of camping & renting cabins at Mississippi's State Parks and at Pat Harrison's Water Way"s. I am actually already looking for to my next weekend at Leroy...

This park has seen better days. When I drove up to the day use permit box. There was no attendant on duty. So you need to leave your 4 dollars and get a tag to put in your car. I reach to get the tag and wasp fly out of the box and sting me. Unpleasant yes! I drive to the office and the single employee is nice and gives me some sting away and says not to worry about paying. I ask her about the nature trail which is the reason we visited the park and she informed me that I should stay away from it since they do not have the staff to repair it and it has not been taken care of in 3 years. The bathroom was okay. We walked around the play ground and most of the picnic tables are rotted and dangerous. Over all the park was sad and depressing. The only bright point was the worker there was nice. I guess she hoped I was not...

This is a quaint little state park. Possibly the smallest I have ever been to. It has a small lake, small camping area, a small number of cabins, but it does have wonderful scenery. And thankfully the cabins had screened in porches since after dusk the mosquitoes were even worse than during the day. Yes they were bad during the day. At least mosquito spray worked during the day but that was it. After dusk forget it. But I did enjoy the porch when we needed it.

This is a hidden gem. I believe I read it is the oldest state park in ms and I wish I had discovered it sooner. We had an event in greenville and it is not far. It's beautifully maintained, courteously managed, and full of amazing wildlife. I never thought I would voluntarily plan a trip to the delta (not a fan of mosquitoes or flat land) but we will definitely be back. Pro tip- pack plenty of bug repellent but other than that it's a little slice of heaven!
