While traveling through the Missoula area, we were looking to soak in a bit of the countryside, and a winery felt like just the right stop. As we pulled in, it was clear something special was about to happen—balloons being blown up, the buzz of an event coming together. We soon learned it was for the West Side Theater, and even with all the preparations, the winery welcomed us with open arms. We were glad to lend our support with a donation to the cause. They poured us a lovely flight without hesitation and even set us up with seats a little further from the bustle so we could enjoy both the wine and the setting in peace. The wines leaned to the drier side—so if that’s your style, you’ll be delighted. The countryside here is stunning, the kind of place where the fields stretch out like gold, the leaves dance in the breeze, and the sunlight lingers just a bit longer. A beautiful stop for an afternoon well spent.

Such a hidden gem in the hills just North of town. Killer setting, reds, whites, wood fired pizzas, live music, places for the kiddos and all set amongst the grapes. Thankful the owners had the vision to build this oasis in Montana.

Must visit when you in town! Bring your snacks for wine testing. It’s so relaxing here, view is perfect, music.. good selection of wine and white veggies pizza is delicious!

Been to Ten Spoon many times. Great spot to bring visitors from out of town to just chill out and enjoy the stupendous views of Mount Jumbo after a hike, trail run, or dip in the creek.

I’m really tired, as a certified sommelier and long-time hospitality industry professional, of people in town dragging the wines here. You don’t go to a winery in the Northern Rockies for immaculate Burgundy with exquisitely complex tertiary notes. You go for something juicy that an unpretentious rancher could enjoy. And unpretentious is exactly what Ten Spoon is. Sure, there could be some more food options, sure, it’s not world-class wine, but TS needs to be appreciated on its own terms—it’s an agricultural conservation easement and one of the only businesses in the neighborhood that’s a lovely place to chill out amidst the outdoor recreation delights of the upper Rattlesnake. Know what you’re in for, don’t be pompous, and you’ll have a wonderful time. Plus the staff won’t hassle you if you want to hang for a while on the lawn, and there’s plenty of space for kids to play if you have ‘em. Not to mention you can often watch deer in any season and paragliders in the...

Had an awesome time here! Was a solo traveler just passing through Missoula and found out they had live music the night I was in town (the band was great!). There was a really nice woman serving brick oven pizzas that were absolutely amazing. The bartender was also super sweet and gave great recommendations on their wines, especially since I don’t like anything sweet and live by “the bolder the better.” The winemaker came and introduced himself as well, which was really cool. I would absolutely come back and buy bottles of their wine and listen to their music in their vineyard in a heartbeat! I stayed for hours, which doesn’t normally happen when I’m traveling alone. :) Thanks for a...
