This review is for the log cabin. We had a large group that shared the cabin and had rv spots that shared the yard (get spot 112, 113, etc). The location for the camp site to the house was perfect. Had a nice grassy area between the 2 so everyone gathered there for meals and games. House was functional with 4 bedrooms with double beds and a loft with 2 double beds. The loft had a lamp but no electrical outlets to plug it in. We had to borrow an 50 foot electrical cord to make this area functional. The house is old, very old with the walls chipping, it's a real log cabin with the filler between the logs falling off to the point you can see light through some walls. There are only 2 bedrooms with vents for air conditioning so we had to turn up ac high to cover the other guests. Some had to freeze to make the others comfortable. Blankets , very worn pillows, sheets and towels were provided. Everything worked out but the price was insane. $1600 for 3 nights and minimum amount of people. We could have had a luxury home on the ocean front for a week for that. The resort has nice river access areas but you must drive to all of them(get a spot early, it all fills up by mid-morning). Kids enjoyed the zip line, great for beginners. We enjoyed the resort but the price was way to high for what we received. Dont know if...

Very nice RV park on the surface, costs are higher than what you get, wifi in campgrounds is basically non useable, as an option you can pay additional fees to get wifi use at the office. There's one shower and bathroom building for each section of the camping area, it's on the top of the hill so you walk up and down the hill, also is. Additional cost. Small pool, river swimming is about five miles away and is very poor. Never found a dumpster, had to bring two bags of trash home. The zip line didn't operate all weekend. UTVS, golf carts and ATVS running all over the park roads, with young kids 9 or 10 years old by themselves. Did not see one employee all weekend. Just not...

They have 2 beaches to hang out at if you don't float. We had a really fun girls weekend there in cabin 22 which is new and plenty of space. No cell service in places including the store/office so be prepared to drive up a hill to call anyone ha! Beautiful and well-maintained. Also not expensive especially if you have a big group. I like the lower beach but the upper beach has fewer people. ...

I've been coming here for years and always loved it. But unfortunately the staff was cutting grass around the cabins at 8:00 am. We couldn't enjoy the scenery or quiet, isn't this why you come to a campground. I do understand the grass needs cut but not first thing in the morning wait till people are down by the river or at least 11:00 am. It wasn't even needed they could have waited a day.

This was a really great experience. The outer rim of campsites all have big space between and lots of trees. The inside, pull-throughs sites are a little tight with limited trees but still well kept. There is plenty to do here from feeding goats, a trail ride on horses, to kayaking, tubing, etc. Highly recommended.
