I have been to many of the caves world wide. Enjoyed our private tour at this cave & were glad to have beaten the rush. Not as commercialized as many of the caves I have been in, which was nice. The person who did the tour was a person who has been involved with the cave for around 30 years. It is obvious he has a love for this place & to do whatever he can to improve it making it more accessible to people to see it's beauty. Doesn't have tons of other formations found in other caves, but had petrified seaweed & other formations that aren't as common in many caves. It is certainly worth the price & time. Don't be turned away from the lack of commercialization...
Read moreWasn't sure what to expect as we drive down a gravel road with a few small, worn signs, and arrive to meet a guy sitting under a pop-up awning. He took our fare and a few minutes later, we were on our way into the cave. It looks fairly small from the outside, but once you enter, it's clear that this place is something special. The guide is very knowledgeable about the many formations within the cave, and the sights are incredible. The tour takes about an hour, and you cover a lot of ground - it's a massive cave.
It's off the beaten path, and gave me pause initially, but after going, I had to leave a review. One of the best experiences we've had here...

I was very impressed with how our guide was patient with the children and made sure to explain things to everyone in the tour (front and back).
