My girlfriend and I randomly saw this place while returning from Arkansas. We decided to turn around and check it out and were blown away! The sheer size and quantity of the collections here are amazing! If you are interested in Native American artifacts, glassware, and minerals/crystals you will be amazed. This place just keeps going while you’re inside and every time you think you have seen everything there’s a whole new massive section as well as an upstairs and downstairs. The lady working was very nice and polite! We were also informed that they are currently doing construction and adding even more collections to it. This is truly a hidden gem! Don’t listen to any review with less than 5 stars, how could you ever complain about a place with free admission that has this much stuff?! Nestled in the quiet community of Golden, at the intersection of Highways 86 & J this is one of the most all-inclusive museums I have ever been in. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once you are through the doors.......WOWWWW! Everything from primitive arrowheads & bones to fancy fans & glassware (including at least 3 rooms full of Vaseline Glass in which you can go in & turn the black lights on! Simply stunning!!) And the best part of it ..... It's FREE, although we donated in the box at the end. It would take a person several days to really see everything in this museum. We plan on going back more than...
