Yes, it looks like you're driving down someone's driveway to get there, but the map is right. Trail is 1 mile up, 1 mile back- a mix of shade/sun & some steep inclines/flat grassy sections. Grass can reach above the ankle at a couple sections, but the trail is mostly rock and dirt. If you have bad knees, this probably not the best trail for you to do quickly because of the incline.
Sign says no horses & no bikes. There is a small parking lot at the base of the trail that could probably fit...
