Yes, it looks like you're driving down someone's driveway to get there, but the map is right. Trail is 1 mile up, 1 mile back- a mix of shade/sun & some steep inclines/flat grassy sections. Grass can reach above the ankle at a couple sections, but the trail is mostly rock and dirt. If you have bad knees, this probably not the best trail for you to do quickly because of the incline. Sign says no horses & no bikes. There is a small parking lot at the base of the trail that could probably fit a dozen cars.

The short distanace on the gravel road was interesting as I had a dog chase my bike, but it did not enter the conservation area parking. A steep uphill on the fairly short trail (really more of a service road). The overlook was at the end of the trail and provided nice views. Worthwhile to stop if you are in the area, otherwise not worth a long drive bu itself.

Great hike to a beautiful view. Note for beginners, it's a pretty good incline. It's about a mile to the overlook, the last couple hundred feet are actually on a decline. So it's a good workout, albeit relatively short. In the fall especially, it's a beautiful hike the entire way which kind of helped get my mind off my burning hamstrings 🤪.
