Lake Lincoln — Attraction in Missouri

Got tiped off to this place by a fellow kayaking coworker. Great tip! This hidden gem is located just outside Troy MO and I'd go as far to say that this is the best lake in the STL area for kayaking. Definatly the prettiest. There is a swimming area too and i hear theres bass 🐟and crappie in the lake as well though i didnt catch any. There is some kind of kayak rental with an instuctor. Finding the lake on the park was the most difficult part as there were not many signs telling you where to go or how to get back out for that matter. I definitely got lost in the park on the way in and the way out! The gps kept guiding me to roads with closed gates! But once we found the lake all was good. I cant...

The blood Park is great, but the lake trail was infested with ticks. I wore long tan pants and had over 50 ticks crawling all over me. 10 by the time I got home inside my clothes, and 5 embedded in my skin. They were adult and baby ticks.
