If you are a chaser of waterfalls like we are, Mina Sauk Falls will not disappoint. It's a 3 mile round trip to and back, but soo worth it. From the parking area, the trail starts off pretty level and flat (porta potty type bathrooms available here), then the terrain gradually changes from dodging a few decent sized rocks to boulders. This is a moderate to strenuous hike. Look for and follow the red markers. Once you pass the overlook, it is all downhill until you get to the falls. The marked trail will lead you to the top of the falls. If you continue straight instead, this will lead you to the bottom of the Falls. Ain't gonna lie with the recent rain, natural springs running along the trail, and slick leaves it was a pain in the butt....lots of sliding, but so worth it. Bring plenty of water, wear good shoes, and follow the red markers and you'll be...

Its says handicap accessible. It's not by any means it's a hike down and a worse hike up if you are pregnant or have a disabled relative with you this is not the trip. They need to add in a bottom entrance, I looked on the map provided there for you there isn't one I looked on the internet to see if maybe it would provide a map with a bottom entrance can't find one.they need to make it more accessible for handicap, the elderly and pregnant if its exercise that they're aiming for and in a long trail but not one where you have to climb the mountain or people that should be able to enjoy the falls but physically can not...

Totally worth the effort to get here. We went on a nice day about 3-4 days removed from a heavy rainstorm. Most of the trail was wet and muddy, but not hard to navigate and avoid getting sloppy.

The falls were really gushing and stagger down about 50ish feet or more. Probably not much of a show after weeks of no rain, but other views are also spectacular. I believe all the pictures I added are from right around the falls.

The trail is fairly rugged, especially the trail down to the base of the falls. Be sure to take water and even a light snack. The 3.8 miles are...

Great little hike. Everyone we talked to said it would take us 3 hours to hike this. My wife and I did it in 1 hour and 30 minutes. I had my daughter strapped to my chest and a hiking backpack. We also took the time to have lunch at the falls. Not really tough hike. It is tougher going back up than going down. But if you're in fairly good shape it isn't hard. If you have bad or weak knees then do not do this hike.
