Old Appleton Bridge — Attraction in Missouri

Ordered thru Uber eats , got charged off our card so we figured everything was good to go. Nope!!! Applebee's made our order and handed it over to a unknown person without verifying they were an Uber eats associate. So they just gave our food to some stranger that had no intentions on bringing it to us,they walked right on out w $65 dollars worth of food. When I called to ask what I should do they told me they had nothing to do w the slip up and weren't liable for any mistakes made. I had to contact Uber eats! How could they claim it wasn't their mess up when they handed our meal to a complete stranger without getting a name or any Id. We never got our meal and after some hassle Uber eats refunded our money but for Applebee's to just shrug it off like it wasn't they problem makes me not want to deal w them in the future. On another note, can just anyone walk in and take to go orders even if they aren't the person that ordered them or paid for them. U would think they would have a better system after this long of having heavy to go orders. Idk thanks for letting me rant. God...

Nice swimming hole... Beautiful scenery. The town would really benefit from taking advantage of this and setting it up better for guests. Create a proper walk path to the bottom, proper bathroom, trash cans etc. But still...

Had never been there before, very good picturesque place to visit. Site of an old mill. River is dammed up here. Great spot to visit if you are out...
