An Unforgettable Fall Experience at Pumpkinville!
Pumpkinville has been our go-to fall destination for years, and it just keeps getting better! This place is packed with fun activities for all ages. The hayrack rides offer a delightful tour of the farm, and the corn mazes—both kids and adult-sized—are always a thrilling challenge.
The beanbag slingshot toss and bouncing houses are favorites with the kids, while the corn hole yard game and corn pit provide endless entertainment for everyone. We love gathering around the dozen firepit rings with chairs, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the crisp autumn air.
Pumpkinville also boasts a variety of fall decorations at great prices, making it easy to bring a piece of the season home. And let's not forget the food! With over half a dozen different food trucks and tent vendors, there's something delicious for every taste.
Every visit to Pumpkinville is a memorable one, thanks to the friendly atmosphere and the incredible attention to detail. If you're looking for a place to create lasting fall memories, Pumpkinville is the place to be. Highly...
Read moreVery challenging corn maze. My wife & I have done most of the corn mazes anywhere close to the Des Moines metro, and pride ourselves in how quickly we can complete them...but this one took us a little under 2 hours to finish. The difficulty comes from none of the ~20 locations being marked...so you essentially have to walk every path and make 100% sure you don't miss anything, or you'll end up having to backtrack to find the location(s) you might have missed. Having a map certainly helps, as without it, it would probably take you all day (or longer).
My ONLY suggestion would be that it would be nice to have the signs marked so they are a bit more obvious. The color of the signs was literally brown (as was the corn), so a more bright/obvious color would make you more certain that you didn't pass by something as you were walking or navigating from the map.
Certainly a challenge though, which we greatly appreciated. We'll have to come back next year when we have more time, to see what else Pumpkinville...
Read moreThis is the 2nd year my son and I have been here. He’s 4. It’s a very simple place. It almost feels like you’re at an outdoor, friendly family gathering when there. We haven’t done a maze yet. My son loves the huge hay pile. Also, picking out our produce. The owner, Joan, is the kindest person. I asked for a couple items to take for my sons school, and she went WAY above & beyond. It’s hard to find people in general that are like this, let alone a business owner. The lady who helped us out to my car, my son adored you too. I think he would’ve stayed with you! If you’re looking for a simple, cheap, comfortable, friendly environment- look no further!! No cost to enter, and the produce, mazes, and snacks are all very cheap! We can’t wait to be back. Until then, keep up the AMAZING work & keep being...
