An impressive place to visit. The museum is filled with historical information and artifacts and well laid out to cover the different eras.
I appreciate the inclusion of the African American presence in the exhibits. There's a section dedicated to Maude Callen a nurse and midwife that provided much needed medical care to the area residents.
The museum also had information on the Black Dragoons a military unit of Black soldiers from South Carolina that fought with the British. There's also a section to recognize Felix Ferguson a local soldier who served during World War One.
