My family rented their social hall for a wedding, the hall is beautiful, however their communication is nothing short of mass chaos. While we were preparing for the wedding, my cousin asked her husband to ask when the key needed returned. He went and asked and was told it was fine to clean up the next day and return the key on Monday morning (the wedding was a Saturday). Sunday morning the woman called my cousin and rudely told her that the hall wasn't cleaned up and we should had done it the night before (as we were told differently). We went and cleaned it on the Sunday and she took the key back Monday morning. They would not give her back her deposit, even though all the required cleaning was done, as they were told by the staff the day of the wedding.... not professional at all. Nothing was damaged, nothing was in disarray. I will be sure to tell people in the future how this is handled when asked about it in the future. Not to mention, there were raccoons in the dumpsters the night of the wedding when we tried to throw all the trash out. I will not recommend this hall to anyone...
Read moreOverpriced furniture. Not just my opinion. Too many people said so. This is an opinion of what I have overheard. About the prosecution of a few people who have been going through their drop-off items. Questions arose to that.. 1: were they too poor to buy themselves, or just resellers looking for big ticket items? 2: Using the name of St. Vincent himself. He was renowned for his compassion, humility and generosity. You now have to give a DNA sample before you can donate anything. It went from the "you are on camera, to no furniture in front, put in back, to ony business hours, no holiday items, and no donations at all now" . I asked for boxes a few times and noticed that in front they throw way in their 30 foot dumpster way too many usuable items. But they had the same junk for sale in the same place for many years. I'm not sure how, why, where, and etc.. But just a little stumped, n to save...
Read moreI have been coming to this store for about 10 years now. Staff was always wonderful and I found treasures over the years. Twice now I have been harassed by a worker because I cannot wear a mask due to my health issues. She was rude, demeaning and down right heartless on the way she spoke to me. I tried my best to explain why I cannot wear one and she just kept over speaking me and being so rude. She brought me to tears. The first time I had another customer and another worker approach me after the incident and they were both stunned by how she acted and what she said to me. The second time she wouldn't even let me through the door. I have been there multiple times without a mask and the staff is very nice to me. This one particular woman is, God bless her, one of the nastiest women I've ever encountered in my life. I will...
