My mother suggesting swinging by this food truck after our Costco run a few weeks ago. Normally, I'd be all about it, but the torrential down-pour made getting the car and getting home asap a much more appealing solution. She was insistent and I'm so glad we made the stop.

We drove up right to the window and ordered a Masala Dosa, Samosa Chaat, and Papri Chaat, all of which came out very quickly and packed very well. Starting with the Masala Dosa-- well cooked, had a really great proportion of soft and crispy bits, the sambar was flavorful and not overwhelmingly spicy, the coconut chutney was refreshing, but the stand out was the tomato chutney. I don't know what they put in their tomato chutney, but it was incredible. Tangy enough to provide a kick, but subtle enough to add to the dosa. The Samosa Chaat consisted of 2 broken up samosas, layered with masala chickpeas (chole), topped with mint and tamarind chutneys, and some sev. The Papri Chaat was the same, subbing the samosa for papri. I found the chole a bit too spicy for my taste, but I added some greek yogurt to the dish when I got home and it worked out great.

My second visit was just as great-- I pulled up around 8 pm on a Wednesday and found the nearby parking area scattered with close to a dozen cars waiting for their order from Bhimas. I ordered an extra crispy Masala Dosa, with extra chutney and malaigapodi. It took about 10 minutes from when I ordered to receive my food and it was just as good as the last time.

Bhimas is a great, no-frills option for consistently good south-Indian food. I'll be visiting again soon to try the idli and vada and...

I Highly recommend Bhimas Food Truck Experience. It is not just their good food that I vouch for, but it is the whole package that they offer that makes them stand out. An experience worth exploring and retaining.

Spelling out each and every service they offer in order to express my gratitude and do justice to the review. If you looking to hire them, read along to know exactly what are the different things they bring to the table.

Convenience - plates, cutlery, water, tissues everything is taken care of. So even if you are the host, you can chill in your own party.

Menu- there is wide variety of menu to choose from and different combinations to suit your specific occasion.

Time Window- Bhimas offers a good 3 hour window which gives sufficient time for guests to eat a full course meal or munch for long on their favorite foods.

Passion - Bhimas Food Truck offers service with passion and ownership. We have had them for two events and what makes this caterer special is the way they serve your guests like their own. Cooking and serving as a service vs cooking and serving people at your own home. If you want the latter, if you want to offer your guests that extra warmth and comfort, then Bhimas catering is what you should go for.

Food- Freshly made food, served hot from the pan . I bet we all agree, that nothing can ever beat this amazing experience. So if you want to make your event special Bhimas Food Truck is what you...

Drove to NJ recently with family and tried Bhimas food truck located in the Costco parking lot. Ordered Pondicherry Dosa, Pongal, Paneer And Cheese Dosas. Food was awesome. We never imagined dosas could be served in such a nice to-go box. Everything was nicely and professionally packed. Reminded me of an airplane meal where food is so beautifully arranged. Taste was outstanding. The red chutney was my favorite. My daughter loved Sambar and my dad enjoyed the white chutney. The portion size was enormous. We were barely able to completely eat our food. Dosas were served really hot right off the pan. We all ate our meals right in our car and dosas were so crunchy. Usually, when I parcel dosas home, they get soggy. This was the first time I felt like they were really crispy, the way they were meant to be. I ordered masala chai too and I loved it. It felt close to Hyderabadi Irani chai which I miss everyday. The only thing that we thought could be better was a shorter wait line. We were there Friday evening and it was packed. I guess this is a popular food joint and I can’t blame others for ordering here. We waited 15 min for our order. A little more than Mcdonald’s drive through wait but a lot less than a typical Indian restaurant. We were visiting NJ from NC and happened to try this place out. It was a really good experience and we hope to visit again. I will try to find similar...

Bhimas Food Truck is hands-down one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the first bite to the last, every dish was bursting with authentic flavor and cooked to absolute perfection. The dosa was perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with delicious fillings. The idli was pillowy, light, and served with chutneys that had me scraping every last bit off the plate. And don’t even get me started on the Kati rolls — tender, flavorful, and wrapped in the perfect flaky paratha that hit all the right notes. But the real surprise? The chaat. It was an explosion of textures and tangy, spicy, sweet goodness. So fresh, so balanced — I honestly wanted to order a second one just for the road. Bhimas doesn’t just serve food; they serve up comfort, nostalgia, and pure joy in every bite. If you see this truck parked nearby, do yourself a favor — RUN, don’t walk. This isn’t just street food. It’s a street feast. Bravo, Bhimas!

Nice and quick service. The team running the food truck are all friendly and gave us great suggestions on what to try! I’m surprised that I’ve never seen them before but very glad to have found them now. They park in the lot between Costco and Marshall’s. I’ve been here twice and tried three different things. Their samosas have delicious filling but I love their dosas more. The Pondicherry Dosa is my favorite. The first time we got it, it was with the standard red and spicy chutney. Absolutely delicious. The perfect amount of spicy and the dosa was nice and crispy. The second time we had it, it was just as delicious and crispy. Only difference was that they were out of the red chutney and they made it with spinach or green chutney. Both versions are fantastic and seasoned to perfection. Also picked up an order of their Paneer Masala Dosa which is pretty good too. Definitely recommend the Pondicherry dosa for first timers!

We tried Chana Masala, Palak Paneer and Gobi Masala for home. We were very happy with the passion and dedication that the chef showed towards preparation of this food and hence decided to cater for a larger event. This, we catered for a large family event and ordered authentic Southern Indian food... no Indian fusion, just to avoid confusion! Ordered Andhra Chilly Chicken, Shrimp Fry, Gobi 65, mix Pakora and cut Mirchi as appetizers. For main entree, ordered Mutton curry, Fish Pulusu, Paneer Chettinad, Guttivankaya, Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, Baghara Rice, with Raitha and finally Gulab Jamun for dessert. (Spice level- Medium) The food was way beyond expectations with more than enough quantities and all guests went back raving and took info of the catering service. An event can never be successful if guests are not belly full! 🙂
