Mount Jeez — Attraction in Monroe Township

What a beautiful area. I’ve always said let’s go and yesterday (June 9,2025) we went for a drive and I have to say although we all wish we had done something …dotdotdot and honestly I’m sooooo happy we visited yesterday instead of sooner. We drove up the hill and met 1 vehicle departing. NO ONE was up at the top besides us the whole visit(aprox 30 mins) to take pics and videos and just listen to nature. The weather was perfect!!! A storm off in the distance wind blowing and the grasses rustling. Drove down the hill and met a vehicle turning around to exit. No noise pollution besides the occasional vehicle in the distance. OH. WOW! The views here of the countryside are wide and spectacular. Make sure to go on a breezy day so you can watch the long grasses sway and ripple. Watch the road, though - it's pretty pitted and rutted. Could really use some major repairs. It was almost like going on safari, that's how rough.
