Owens Park — Attraction in Monroe Township

Fun, open, clean place for all community members to enjoy. You can bring the kids to play at the park, take a stroll around with the family, your spouse, or a friend. There is a skate park, volleyball court, playground area with swings, slides, mini rock climbing wall, etc. There are trash cans available everywhere to clean your mess and picnic tables to enjoy an outdoor meal. There is a walking trail complete with a bridge over the ditch. The fields are well maintained for the sports and if you want to get friends together to play on an unoccupied field, they're open. There is a gazebo to hold a large crowd for a party, etc. It's an all around family friendly, wonderful place for all community members to enjoy. Owens Dog Park is one of the best around! It has a side for small dogs (under 30lbs.) and large dogs (over 30lbs.) and each side is equally as big with both a sunny and shaded area and benches to sit on. There is also obstacle/exercise equipment for the dogs to use! Overall really awesome dog park! It is a bit confusing to find, however - it is down a dirt path at the very end, but it does have signage. Large gravel parking lot and there is a water fountain and a Porta-Potty. Owens Park is located in a multi level sports complex set inside of Williamstown H.S. & Middle school area.

There's a smaller paved walking oval, @ less than 1/4 mile trail, that's very good for walkers that have difficulty on uneven walking & then there's a bigger nature trail that surrounds all the sport fields on the perimeter.
