Veterans Park - Spray Ground — Attraction in Monroe Township

This is a great Park to visit with the family, especially with kids. It has a great playground & a splash area for kids & even grown ups to get cooled down & just have some fun. In the front of play area is a Park area with a Memorial for Our Veterans, it's a nice time to stop by and pay Respects for Our Hero's & maybe tell your kids what this area stands for. I bring my kids here all the time. The spray park is the best part of the park. My kids love it. I would say that it is best for kids 10 and under but I have seen older kids on the spray park. It can get very crowded once school is out. The playgrounds are pretty good also. There are 2 sets, one for younger children (maybe for kids 5 and under?) And then one for kids older and more stable. This is a cute park and sprayground perfect for young children. Our 1+ year old friend sat in a puddle happily splashing while the older kids had water sprayed and dumped on them. There are 3 dry playground structures right next to it -- perfect for drying off in the sun. There is also a large covered pavilion with picnic tables to enjoy lunch or a snack and cool off.
