Im giving it a one star because of the low maintenance to the playground area itself. My mother, sister and her two children went there for an hour for my nephews birthday while some areas are better than others; in the playground area, i could notice structures unlevel, sagging causing trip hazards. The most worse i saw was the stairwell by the sandbox going up the levee. Boards where caved in, screws exposed and the handrail falling apart. It wouldn't be hard for a child to trip and bust his head open. I was astonished by the neglect of forsythe park. If you take your child there make sure they have had a tetanus shot. Read moreI came here 3 years ago with my family and it smelled of sewage terribly. They were having serious plumbing issues. I thought after 3 years it would have improved. I'm happy it didn't reek but it is in serious disrepair which is so sad because it has the potential. The bathrooms were closed so I guess they are still having plumbing issues unfortunately.
