I've been visiting this park for years. It is a great place for the kids to explore, learn about the local habitat, and get exposure to various terrains. They do have some lengthy trails in my opinion. My last visit I didn't see much map references so knowing if a particular trail is a loop or not was difficult to figure out (a couple named trails specifically indicate they are a loop). This is a great new spot in Monroe to take the kids on a nature walk. They have a small butterfly garden off to the side and a few trails to go on. They have a scavenger hunt sheet to go threw along the walk and some really great areas on the trails to tell about the area, animals in the area and you may be able to see some as well.
