We had never been there before and didn't realize the layout. It is a perfect park for those able to do steep and vigorous hiking, but there is no place to drive vehicles to the overlook area- u have to hike a steep area less than a mile to get there. When u enter the park u then have to descend a very steep wooded narrow road with no guard rails to prevent you from driving off the side. The road is so narrow, yet that is the only way to get in or out of the park. Thankfully nobody was coming in at the same time we were driving out at the narrowest scariest spots. It was an exciting experience to say the least. This is a great spot though for camping and hiking as i mentioned with a water overlook once u...

I wish I could give this zero stars. Not fun. Very hot and buggy. There were bugs in my ears and eyes and nostrils the entire time. Very steep and exhausting but not even a good view. There was a scary black bug on a log that was like 6 inches thick. It probably could have killed me. There was also a scary snake. I had very bad poop and diarrhea after the hike and it was probably because of the bugs and their diseases. I thought I was going to die on this hike it was so gross and not fun. Would not...

I love hiking around Webb Mountain. There are great trails and also overnight camping! There's a beautiful stream that sometimes trickles and sometimes rages through a landscape of large moss covered trees and shiny rocks. Oh, the shiny rocks! They pave the road throughout the park. It's breathtaking. Webb Mountain was not busy nor was it crowded. We heard an owl there and that's when I knew I was in the forest and not...

The view at the top of the overlook is quite simple to get to and completely worth it. Gorgeous view of the Housatonic River, especially now during peak autumn. So easy and peaceful. Free and simple parking; though limited, not many people which is nice. Plus camping on site. Loved it so much, I’ve gone three days in a row upon discovering it!

A pleasant surprise. There are 10 campsites with firepits - no electric/showers/plumbing. Several port-a-potties throughout. We stopped there to recon - we will be camping there soon, it is quiet, peaceful. We found several likely locations for climbing and rappelling, great location for birdwatching.
