My family and I usually go to another place for apple picking but they weren't opened this year. I heard great things about this place. And as much as I wanted to like it because it was a nice drive there and the actual establishment inside is nice...but I won't be going back. The woman inside was nice also but as for the guy outside collecting money for the apple picking wasn't. We explained it was our first time there and asked if they had certain apples we wanted. Which it also stated on the website that they had those. He told us no not yet in a couple of weeks we will. Then he told us to follow the cones and those are the trees you pick from. He literally sent us to a spot that for one no one was at and that had barely any apples on the trees and were soo tiny. We even asked someone walking by if this was all the apples they have which he replied "I don't work here." It wasn't until the end that some younger women told us they had a whole other apple field about 5 minutes down the way set in the back. By that point our kids were aggravated that they couldnt find any apples on the trees and also kept getting swarmed by TONS OF BEES so they spent the whole time dodging bees. Not only did the guy lie to us about the apples we asked if they had (we seen people at the end with them in their bags coming from the back, they had a wonderful selection of apples.) He told us to go to the spot that had no apples. Waste of our money and never again!! 35$ in apples that were terrible. Got 2 small pumpkins for 20$. I'll definitely let everyone I know to choose a different place. I wish I would have went with the original place I first picked but decided last minute to...
Read moreTheir apples are way over priced and you have to pay $5 even if you are not picking just to walk in their field unless you buy a large bag. You can’t just by a little bag for a flat price and go pick. They have tons of rotten fruit on the ground and it’s the beginning of September that people could have bought up had they been cheaper. After we picked we bought a gallon of apple cider and donuts to sit and enjoy with the kids. We chose to sit inside (which I remember being able to do a couple years ago) because of the bees outside in the front. When we sat down we had someone tell us that we couldn’t sit there because of their liquor license. So our only option was to sit outside. We sat at a table on the front deck and we were literally swarmed with bees landing on our hands, our donuts and on and inside our cups while we were trying to relax. We moved far off to the front field and they were just as bad. We moved over to the picnic tables next to the pond and it was the same I could barely pour my own cider. It seems as though they are more accommodating to people that go for wine and wine tasting and not families with children. I don’t think we will...
Read moreWhat a great place! Visited today for the first time with our family and it was such a nice experience! Large selection of apples to pick and my son picked a couple of pumpkins out of the patch. I was told that this an awesome spot to pick sunflowers. I figured that at this time of year most of them would be past bloom but I was wrong! What a beautiful sight! Tons and tons of beautiful sunflowers beneath a gorgeous blue sky! We went into the store and got some delicious cider and some of the best cider donuts I've ever had! We also grabbed a tasty snack from one of the food trucks. Inside the store I was surprised to see such a cool selection of different moonshine, whiskey and wine that they make! The packaging for the bottles was very nice and would make a great gift! They also make their own candles and they had some cool shirts and other great things to buy once again a lot of great gift ideas! This place offers something for everyone...
