Queen Bee Vineyard — Attraction in Monson

Firstly the wine that we tried was amazing. I don't consider wine to be my favorite alcoholic beverages but I left with two bottles of their wine because it was that good! It is not very sweet but if you are a fan of sweet wine I would definitely still recommend going as I usually only like sweet wines but really enjoy the wine here. All the wines had a large amount of flavor and were very easy to drink. Secondly it's a small place that is run out of a house but don't let that turn you away because it actually made the experience even better! The bar area that you get served at is very professional and high quality. The owner Roy gave us the samples and is very knowledgeable. He will tell you anything you want to know about his wine or wine in general. Overall I couldn't be more pleased with our experience not only was the wine amazing the service was as well! Roy is an excellent host and wine producer. He will give you a first hand account on how and when he makes the wonderful tasting wine he serves you. Along with the environment in his quaint bar attached to his home you can enjoy scenic views of the Hampden County hills. The wines that you have an opportunity to taste are all organic without sugar added. We enjoyed our visit and purchased 2 bottles. Only reason didn't get 5 stars is due to specific license requirements in MA you are unable to drink a glass of wine on premises. This guy is awesome! We’ve been there multiple times for tastings even though we’ve tasted them all just because we love talking to him and learning more about what he does. He grows his own grapes and is always giving us good recommendations for beers too! Their wines are delicious and REAL WINE, no juice or sugars added. Just knowbefore hand that he cannot let you drink a bottle on the property due to the liquor licensing in the town. I’d recommend going there over Echo Hill unless you want to...
