This is a great little trail! Beautiful and scenic. There are multiple elevations and the path is a natural foot path that have some roots as obstacles. The trails would be difficult if you have limited mobility. It's very wooded until you come up to a small beach, big enough for one picnic table. I did not make use of the water access with a canoe etc. There are three parking areas and multiple branches of trails and one porta potty at the main parking area. Near that area are a number of picnic tables as well. I did not look to see if there were trash recepticals. I imagine this place will be beautiful in the fall.

The name on the sign is actually CLEAR SPRINGS so don't think you're in the wrong spot. This is...

Beautiful little area we were told by a couple locals to check out. Easy hiking. Several trails from very short to totally circling the creek area. Gorgeous even in the early spring before everything is green. And the water, as the name calls, is crystal clear giving sight to breathtaking under water structuring of the run through.

Even an easy access to the main damn area and let outs for disabled nature lovers.

Loved it here. Only down side, is that it is close to a major road so you hear a fair amount of...

On a warm Saturday morning we hiked in the Clear Creek Nature Preserve. The reserve consist of a number of well marked trails featuring a large pond, wildlife, including deer, and many gigantic old trees. Benches and informational signs have been placed along the trails. A small parking area with a few picnic tables are also available. Some wildflowers are also scattered along the way. It is a fun place to hike...

Who knew this gorgeous spring, pond, and trails were tucked between two busy roads - Fruitvale (main entrance) and Weesies - northeast of Montague? Whether one opts for a short hike, or explores several trails, the beauty enjoyed will match the energy expended. Topping it off: it's free!
