This is one of the best historical museums I have been too!! The information provided, alone is staggering. I always want to know more and what was the real story and I got it here. The buildings are all so different even from what you normally see on TV or at a museum. Whoever is putting these exhibits together is "super smart". I will be talking about this museum for a long long time. I really want my children and grandchildren to see it. Thank you to the lady at the register and the other lady who had the keys to the room with the buffalo head. It was fun to pet a real bison head. Read moreThis was one of those pleasant discoveries you make on a road trip. This museum was especially great for toddlers and preschool aged kids. You can go into all the different buildings and take a look around. They did a great job of making everything visible to even the smallest visitors, which means I didn't have to repeatedly lift my kids to help them see the exhibits. The barn, train, and ringing the church bell were all highlights.
The main building provides more information and is also air conditioned. Overall this was an excellent stop and well worth the admission price...
